Christina Davis, DES
Owner
Christina’s passion lies in transforming the traditional in a way that honors and elevates it. As a proud member of the “Oregon Trail” generation she had Commodore 64’s in her elementary school, was the last class in her high school to take typing class on a typewriter, and had an email address and a Geocities website by the time she graduated high school.
She is a certified Digital Event Strategist (DES) via PCMA.
One of her proudest accomplishments was transitioning a planned 1000+ in-person attendee Convention to a fully virtual Convention in under three months due to the pandemic in 2020. The Convention was attended by over 1200 virtual attendees and received praise from attendees.
Christina attended Rutgers University in New Jersey where she majored in Theater Arts. During her time there she went from a part time staff member at the Performing Arts Center box office to Assistant Box Office manager. This position launched her first career and she spent the rest of her 20s working in a series of theaters and performing arts center in a variety of front of house management positions.
She moved to the Washington, DC area in the late 00s and from there transitioned to association management. Through her work at two association management companies she managed several professional associations ranging from small associations to large regional association chapters. Her job description ranged from all levels of board to member to other support and she grew her skills in everything from budget development to event planning to website management.
Her most recent position was with the League of Women Voters of the US. She spent close to 7 years there first in a general Special Projects Manager and then in the newly created Director of Training and Events. She played key roles in the redevelopment of the intern training program, a volunteer train the trainers program, and how events were managed internally. She helped develop the initial DEI curriculum and was the lead event planner on all major events from 2017-2024.
